Membership Information
If you haven’t sent in your membership envelope yet, you may be wondering, “What is the Loretto PTA and why should I
join it?” PTA is a national, grassroots, not-for-profit association; neither the association nor its leaders
make any profit or receive any financial benefits from PTA activities. Your Loretto PTA is run by volunteers and led by volunteers, and we are accountable to our members, parents and schools. We are an inclusive association that is open to all who care about children and schools.
Joining the Loretto PTA is an easy way to get involved in your child’s education. When you join the Loretto PTA, you join hundreds of other parents, teachers and community members in advocating for school and children’s issues in
Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Washington, DC. Our Loretto PTA provides the financial support and volunteers to make Accelerated Reading (AR), Sunshine Math, Where in the World?, Character in Action, Art Appreciation and Reflections possible
in our school. AND, your Loretto PTA membership card entitles you to receive great discounts to local businesses and entertainment venues such as MOSH, RPM Automotive, Tree Hill Nature Center, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Jacksonville Zoo, Latitude 30, Tropical Smoothie Café, Pizza Palace, Jacksonville Suns and Sweet Frogs! AND, for the next three weeks, when you join the Loretto PTA, your name will be entered into a drawing to received one of three Loretto Spirit T-shirts
to be given away each week!
If you’re ready to join our Loretto PTA, please fill out your membership envelope, enclose $6 for an individual membership or $10 for a business membership, and send it to school with your child. It’s that simple! If you’ve misplaced your envelope, more are available in the school office, or just ask your child’s teacher to send one home with him or her.
Thanks for supporting our Loretto
PTA!
